What we collect when you enquire, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how to get it deleted.
Who we are
This site is operated by Something Easy Ltd, trading as Easy Insulation Scotland, a company registered in Scotland under number SC533644, with its registered office at 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP.

What we collect, and why
We collect only what we need to arrange and price a loft survey. There is no tracking, profiling or advertising on this site.

Where we rely on consent, that is the tick box on the enquiry form. You can withdraw it at any time and we will stop contacting you, though it will not undo anything already done.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interest is in keeping the site working and understanding where enquiries come from. We have considered your rights and take the view this is limited, expected and low-impact.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with other companies.
- We do not pass enquiries to lead-generation networks or other installers.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
- We do not make automated decisions about you.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
Typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address in order to deliver the file. We do not receive that information and cannot link it to you. [DECISION: self-hosting the fonts removes this third-party request entirely. Recommended.]
Who else sees your information
Your enquiry is stored on our web hosting and sent to our own email. Our hosting provider and email provider process the data on our behalf as data processors, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may share information where we are legally required to, for example in response to a court order.

How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for [CONFIRM: 12 months] from your last contact with us, then deleted. If you go on to become a customer, we keep records relating to the work for as long as the warranty runs and as long as tax law requires, currently six years.
How it is protected
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is stored outside the public area of the web server so it cannot be reached from a browser, and access is limited to the people who need it to arrange your survey.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Receive your data in a portable format
Email info@insulation-scotland.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use existing enquiry data will be notified directly to anyone affected.
